About Provisions Kitchen
We're on a mission to bring bold, delicious meals to your table.
Our Story
Everyone loves dinner, but it can be so hard to get everything done in the short hours between school/work and dinner time.
We run a large, well-equipped domestic kitchen. Every recipe that we send to your table has first been enjoyed on ours. This means we strive to provide the highest quality nutrition possible for your family and ours!
We also understand the value of knowing what is in your food, so you can count on the following:
- ✓No artificial flavors or colors
- ✓No processed, canned foods (no BPA)
- ✓All natural foods, local and organic whenever possible
- ✓Organic, Non-GMO grains always
- ✓No hormones or antibiotics in meats
- ✓No unnecessary oil, fat, salt, or sugar
- ✓Sauces made from scratch with whole, organic foods
- ✓No preservatives
Meet Our Team
Chris
Owner/Founder
Chris is a wife, a mom, and a lifelong lover of good food. She grew up in a family where hosting, entertaining, and cooking were treated as an art form, and that upbringing gave her the foundation for starting Provisions Kitchen. The idea took root when she noticed that nearly every family she knew was juggling a full plate of responsibilities and still felt like they were dropping the ball at dinnertime. Drawing on her years in restaurant management, her degree in communication, her heart for serving her community, and her passion for wholesome, handmade food, Chris created a solution she hoped would ripple outward into people's lives.
“We sell dinner, but people buy time.”
Time for soccer practice and gymnastics. Time for church and community. Time to help with math homework, to coach a team, or to simply sit around the table and catch up.
We hope the time you gain with Provisions Kitchen serves your family well.
Outside of the business Chris has a deep love of travel, especially to the beach! She loves dinner with friends and family, warm coffee on a cool fall morning and getting to go to work with the most amazing team which just happens to include her kids!
Leigh
Director of Operations
Leigh brings a background in nutrition, foodservice operations, and team leadership to her role as Director of Operations at Provisions Kitchen. Her interest in nutrition began through her years as a competitive swimmer, which inspired her to pursue a degree in nutrition and build a career centered around food, health, and wellness. Her previous experience in healthcare ranged from working directly at the hospital level with clinical and foodservice teams to leading initiatives at the corporate level across multiple hospitals and divisions. She now brings that combination of hands-on experience and big-picture operations leadership to Provisions Kitchen, overseeing the day-to-day business and its continued growth while keeping a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and creating a great experience for clients.
Outside of Provisions Kitchen, Leigh is a wife and mom, and she loves that her career has come full circle. The experiences that shaped her early interest in nutrition and food now play a meaningful role in her everyday life, from creating meals for her own family to helping Provisions make it easier for other families to enjoy wholesome, homemade food together.
Ruthie
Procurement Manager
Ruthie has been with Provisions Kitchen for 11 years — almost from the very beginning! She oversees procurement at Provisions Kitchen, making sure we have the highest-quality ingredients and supplies to keep our kitchen running smoothly. With a keen eye for quality, she manages supplier relationships, purchasing, and inventory to ensure our team has what they need to create exceptional meals. Her behind-the-scenes work helps make every Provisions Kitchen meal as fresh, thoughtful, and consistent as the last.
From a young age, Ruthie has always been passionate about serving others. It is fulfilling to be able to pursue this passion as a full-time profession. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her husband and son. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants in the Nashville area and traveling.
Emma
Client Relations Manager
Emma is the friendly face behind so many of our client interactions at Provisions Kitchen. She loves getting to know our clients and ensuring they are taken care of from the moment they place an order to the moment their meals arrive. She has been with us for almost 6 years and comes from a background in Business Management and Ministry. Some of you may recognize her from her salon management days! With a passion for people and an eye for the little details, Emma helps make the Provisions experience feel personal and thoughtful.
Outside of work, she loves to be with her family! Her husband and two boys are her world, and with working at Provisions, she has learned so much about how to care for them with what they eat. Even though she doesn't have a food background, she loves learning about how what we eat affects everything about our health.
Jackson
Team Manager
Jackson is a key part of keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes at Provisions Kitchen. As Team Manager, he leads our kitchen team, keeps operations organized, and makes sure each week's meals are prepared with care and consistency. He brings 14 years of experience building and leading teams in both international ministry and non-profit organizations. Jackson carries a passion for developing people and creating a healthy culture where teams thrive. He brings that same hands-on approach and genuine care for people at Provisions Kitchen every week.
Outside of Provisions, Jackson's time is centered around his wife, Savannah, and their growing family of three daughters, with twins on the way! He loves that his work connects so directly to something he values deeply: families and friends sharing special moments around the dinner table. Knowing that Provisions helps make those moments possible for so many families is a big part of why he loves what he does.
